From our log peelers to our mill operator to our log builders and timber craftsmen, we simply can’t create our beautiful custom homes without the hard work of our entire log building crew.

Daniel And Shelley Albert, Owners

Born in Burlington, Ontario, Daniel offers his clients a unique blend of hands-on craftsmanship and professional business skills. With several years of experience working at his father’s steel company before becoming a log home builder, Daniel is also a graduate of Economics (McMaster University) and Business Marketing (Mohawk College) – giving him the knowledge to not only create gorgeous handcrafted homes, but to forge solid industry partnerships and create a strong business plan in order to build the best possible log house for you and your family.

Also a graduate of McMaster University, Shelley holds degrees in Math and Education. She worked for several years as a teacher prior to the founding of Coyote Log Homes, where she works in partnership with Daniel to run the day-to-day operations of the company.

Murray Arnott, Log Home Designer

Murray is world-renowned log home designer, and we’re ecstatic to have him designing several exclusive log home floor plans for Coyote Log Homes.

Murray has more than 25 years of carpentry, building, and design experience under his belt. He has designed log cabins for clients across Canada and the United States, and in 1998 was awarded Best Home in British Columbia. The recognition he received from this award led Murray to offer his services throughout North America and around the world. During his acclaimed career he has continued to be recognized for his work winning numerous awards including Best Luxury Home 6000 SF and runner-up for Best Luxury Home 4500-6000 SF.

His leadership and association with the International Log Builders Association, where he served as Vice-President, has kept him at the forefront of log building technology. He has also served as a consultant to several log industry publications, including writing and editing the design column for Log Home Living Magazine.
