Adding an outdoor log structure such as a gazebo, shelter, or boathouse is a great way to get acquainted with log construction or complement the structure and style of your existing log home.

Cedar Shake Roofing

Our authentic hand-split cedar shakes – a great choice for all types of roofing projects – are a perfect match for the natural aesthetics of your log home.

Average Cost: $45 to $49 per bundle, depending on grade.

Gazebos

Available in hexagonal and octagonal shapes (up to 20 ft. in diameter), our handcrafted log gazebos are stunning in their beauty and craftsmanship. Choose from a log post and beam style with either 3 to 6 ft. tall piece-en-piece scribed log walls, or a log railing system installed between the main posts.

Logs components are pre-stained to your specifications. Strapping, roof decking, and cedar shake roofing are extra.

Construction: 1-2 weeks (depends on size and complexity of gazebo).
Installation: 1 day.

Arbors / Pergolas

Perfect for your garden or as a way to link your log home to a gazebo or pavilion, our team can build several styles of arbors and pergolas using handcrafted log posts, beams, and rafters. Our designs can also include a gate, if requested.

Installation: 1 day.

Pavilions / Shelters

An open concept pavilion or shelter can add depth and beauty to your property. Available in a variety of log or timberframe designs, our pavilions and shelters can be built to any size and come pre-stained to your specifications.

Saunas

A log sauna is the perfect way to wind down after a long day. Whether you choose an authentic Finnish-style sauna (single room) or Russian-style sauna (dry sauna, cooling room, bathroom, and community room – great for resorts), our Red Cedar saunas are custom designed and can be built to any size and shape using the full scribe construction method.

Our sauna designs can also include a cedar shake roof or covered porch, if requested.

Poolhouse / Boathouse

Our poolhouses and boathouses are completely custom designed and can be built using several different log building techniques, including full-scribe, timber frame, or post and beam. Just bring us your own sketch, design or floor plan – or we can have one of our designers work with you – and we’ll create a one-of-kind log structure that fits your lifestyle.
